Hey There!

Hey there, long time no see! Haha, I have been at the beach all week and have absolutely zero blog time. Even though my birthday was Monday my friends and family have given my permission to celebrate ALL week!

I'll try to play a little catch up.. Monday night was the actual birthday and the girls and I headed to Myrtle Beach for the day. We woke up bright and early, got some breakfast and hung out opening gifts and laughing. My sweet mom had me 21 presents waiting all with a hidden meaning. Some of my favorites were new underwear because one should always have pretty underwear on, a cast iron skillet because its now time to begin cooking true southern meals, an apron to continue style in the kitchen, and a lottery ticket for good luck. We had so  much fun and laughed so hard. After all of that fun was over we moved outside to relax by the pool. We were going to go to the beach but it looked like it might rain so we stuck close by. There was no rain however and we had a blast!

Before beginning the getting ready process I made my first ABC store run! I could hardly contain my excitement. Mom kept saying she didn't support this but was snapping pictures the whole time so I think she did, ha! [Please excuse the non makeup, pool all day face]

We then headed back to start getting ready for the big night out! I have never seen so many outfit changes from my friends. Once everyone finally was dressed and ready to go we cranked up the music and started the official pregame. I had a playlist of 21 songs from the past 21 years playing and we had a BLAST dancing around to old hits! I'm going to share the playlist later!

From here the night went a little crazy. We had a blast though and I can't wait to share. For now it will have to wait because I'm about to pack up, leave the beach and head to see KENNY CHESNEY!! yay!! I'm praying this rain will stop!

Birthday Girl!

IT'S.MY.BIRTHDAY

I have to say I'm a little excited! All of the girls got to the beach yesterday and we have a day/night full of fun planed. I'll be sure to have plenty of pictures to share! We are going to Myrtle Beach for the day to lay out, shop and whatever our hearts desire. That night we are grilling out and the hitting the bars. (It is my 21st!)

Did anyone see the Men Tell All Bachelorette episode? I can NOT believe Bentley did not show up. I guess it isn't that surprising but he should have been there. He makes me sick! I feel a little bad for thinking Ashley was not the brightest for being head over heels for him but to be fair she really didn't know. It was funny to see the guy who had fell asleep the first episode. I didn't even recognize him at first haha! Well I am now off to get some sun and drinks! Have a great Monday!

Lucky Lady!

So as you know, yesterday I headed to the beach to see Justin. I knew he would be at work when I got here and expected to lay my stuff down and head outside. Much to my surprise when I walked in I was greeted with streamers everywhere, 21 balloons, 21 candles, 21 coral roses and lilies, a huge card, a poster, a birthday cake, a crown AND a chilled bottle of wine. OMG, is this not the sweetest thing ever?!! Justin had snuck home on his lunch break and set all of this up. He must know the way to a girls heart! I can now say my birthday weekend/week got started in full force.

After his lunch break he had to head back to work so I spent the day relaxing. That night we went out to an amazing seafood restaurant and then took a walk on the beach. We ended the night by watching my favorite show Suits. It was the perfect day!

On another note. I'm a little frustrated! I have been to several stores trying to find sunscreen in the SPF I want. I CAN'T find an SPF under 30! WHAT?! I know I should protect my skin from the sun and use higher sunscreen protection but if a girl wants to tan, let her tan. I'm staying out of the tanning bed so please let me use my desired sunscreen! I always put 15 on my chest, 4 on my legs and 30 on my face. I'm in a dilema and not happy. [I have been mainly looking at grocery stores so I guess I will try a drug store next] Oh welllll, have a great day lovelies!
