Scents that make me smile

I truly believe "it's all about the little things." Of course we all love an extravagant vacation, big life changes, and expensive new gadgets. When I really think about it though these "big" things do not even come close to comparing to all of the "little things" that make me smile. A Saturday morning with nothing to do except drink coffee and relax, freshly painted nails, fuzzy socks (or in my case, my dads over sized socks(: ) a new book.. the list could go on and on. One little thing that makes me happy is finding a scent that I love. I have compiled a list of things that I smell and a smile uncontrollably forms on my face.

a fresh cup of coffee

Mulled Cider Tyler Candle Company candle

Sweet Tea Please

It's a tradition in the south- three simple ingredients and we are blessed with something heavenly. Water, tea bags and sugar will give you the perfect sweet tea drink we all love. Sweet tea is more than a drink where I'm from. It's what is always in the fridge at home, delivered by the sweet waitress uptown and offered to any visitor whether it be the plumber or your very best friend. There are a million ways you can spruce it up with mint or berries but I prefer the simple every day tea! Every time I start a new health kick and vow to rule out all soda and any drink other than water I assume sweet tea is the only exception! The North and South are of course separated by the Mason Dixon Line but I read a magazine article once they said it all too well: The real separation is when you pass over from that one diner with southern sweet tea to the poor North one that refuses to cooperate, bless their hearts. Luckily tea is awfully hard to mess up and everyone makes it a little different. The one thing that never changes it how amazing this drink is. I think I will pour me a glass right now- Have a great day!
