I saw this on The Life of Emily's blog and decided to play along and let some of my newest followers get to know me!
If......
I could live anywhere in the US ... I would live in Savannah, Georgia or Charleston, South Carolina! To me both of these places scream southern living and everything I dream about! Cobblestone streets?1 Yes please! I love the history and beauty of these two places as well as the amazing restaurants they have to offer.
I were to have more children ... Well I don't have any children and wont for a long time! But WHEN I do I would love two- a boy and a girl who will be dressed adorable every single day!
I could have any talent in the world ... I would choose the talent of running! I want to become a serious runner so bad but it just doesn't seem to work for me. I've tried and tried to get past the two week beginning phase that is said to get to you, but can't seem to get there. Maybe one day!
you met me in real life ... I would hope that you like me! haha, seriously though! I blog about what is going on with me and my interest so I don't think it would be a huge surprise. I want some new blogging friends!(:
Money were not an object ... ohhh hm, this is fun! If money were not an object I would shop every single day.. seriously. I love love love shopping (my mom would say too much!) Clothes, shoes and seasonal items are my favorite. I'm not all about shopping for myself though! If money was truly not an object, I would love to supply my classroom and other classrooms with everything they need for the best school year ever. Money just doesn't float around schools for things like supplies and sadly teachers aren't paid enough to supply them either! What a dilemma!
I could choose an animal/pet ... I would choose a Basset Hound because I love my two! Cooper and Charlie.
I could meet one celebrity ... It would be Paula Deen. Call me crazy but I'm obsessed. Ever since I visited Lady and Sons in Savannah I have been hooked on her southern recipies. If I met her maybe I could get some cooking lessons!
I could go on a trip right now ... I would go to the mountains and stay in a log cabin with a hott tub and great view! With lots of friends and family for a fun filled getaway. I would be bundled up in warm blankets, drinking hott chocolate and reading a book.
I had to choose between a house cleaner and a personal chef ...I would pick a house cleaner, although I sometimes like to clean. I love to cook and want to learn to cook more- if I had a personal chef I may never learn! The house cleaner can do all the dirty work. I hate cleaning the shower!
I could only shop at one store for the rest of my life ... I agree with Emily on this one- Nordstrom! They have everything you could ever need and carry a wide variety of designers!
I love to shop too-- I can't get enough of it!
ReplyDeleteSavannah and Charleston are my absolute two favorite places in the world! So gorgeous! I'm Elementary Ed too and I adore it! I want to get my masters also but I think I'm going to wait a few years after teaching. Hope you're having a great week!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE this post! I'm an elementary education major, too and I am planning on starting grad school a year from January. I graduate in May 2012, but want to start teaching as well. Call me crazy, but I think I'm up for the challenge. I also want to get my Master's in Reading Education! Where all are you going to apply? And I may have asked you this before, but what school do you go to? I'm going to email you sometime -- I feel like we should be good blog friends --we have so much in common!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could run, too! I just can't ever keep up with it, either!
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Savannah its my dream home =]
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and love it! The picture of you with Cooper and Charlie is just too cute :) Can't wait to follow along on your journey now!
ReplyDeleteI always love these posts! And how wonderful does a log cabin and hot chocolate right now?! The holiday months are so cozy!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week!

Fun post!
ReplyDeleteSavannah and Charleston are two of my favorite cities :)
I went straight into my Masters program before I got a full time teaching job. I got lots of advice and got pros and cons about going ahead before teaching and waiting. If I could do it again, I think I'd wait! Good luck!
I love basset hounds and that sounds like a perfect vacation!
